Charming day with CHARM IT

Isn’t it great that jewelry can be so charming?  This past Saturday we bridge and tunnel’d it to celebrate Penelope’s 7th birthday with the CHARM IT!® gang at Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York City and the attire requested by the girls was anything rainbow.  I will say that I definitely delivered.  They stuffed their faces with rainbow cupcakes, took pictures in the photo booth and hung out some of the coolest blogging kids out there.

CHARM IT!® has partnered with the one and only, Crayola to host a contest where children can use their imagination to create a charm with hopes of it being chosen as one of the TWELVE winning charms!  12 winners will receive the title of CHARM IT® guest designer as well as a $100 gift card for the CHARM IT® website and the best part is that they also learn about giving back because a single $1,500 USD donation of Crayola product will be made to the Kids in Need Foundation.

While visiting the site, you must download the official entry form and read all the FAQs.  Make sure you have your entry form post marked by May 6th!  That’s the last official day of the contest.  What will your charm be?  A locket?  A 5 carat oval ring set in pave diamonds?  Just me?  Okay.

The girls had so much fun (I say girls because I was chasing Baron since he was crawling under the banquette seating) entering the CHARM IT!® contest and creating their own charms.  So much fun that they have decided to start their very own design company in the future.  Thank you CHARM IT® for nurturing my daughters’ ability to want to be creative!

Check out some pictures of our time at the event below and if you really want to get your stalk on, check out the CHARM IT® website and follow them on Instagram to see if you recognize two girls on there.
